Personal Information
Buying or selling a home is a major financial transaction that most people do only a few times in their life. Because of this, the average buyer/seller may be unfamiliar with the complexities of real estate and therefore lack the necessary knowledge to successfully complete their transaction. As a real estate professional, I will successfully guide you through this process. I believe it is my responsibility to assist my clients in making sound, knowledge-based real estate decisions.
Background
I am a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a 13-year professional career in corporate taxes. My work experience includes Arthur Andersen, a Fortune 500 Company and Government. I specialized in tax negotiations, which I find to be an extremely useful skill in maximizing the value of the real estate transaction for my clients. Also, as a CPA, I have a keen attention for detail and have found that this attention to detail is often the difference between a successful purchase or sale and one beset with problems.
Although I thoroughly enjoyed my career, I left the world of taxes to focus on raising my son during these very important and enjoyable early years of his life. I moved from Lincoln Park to Hinsdale to be in this beautiful suburban environment with outstanding schools and a rich sense of family and community. As such, I have a true appreciation for the needs of my clients - many of whom are moving to Hinsdale or the surrounding area for similar reasons.
